Our Purpose
We're coming together as children of God and citizens of Stockton to pray intentionally and persistently that God's Kingdom, Love and Presence would shine across our city.

To see the Kingdom of God reign vibrantly over the city of Stockton, so that our people will flourish- being confident in hope, contagiously joyful, and abounding in peace.

Our Method
Our strategy is to blanket the city in nonstop prayer all of 2025. We rely on local ministries, and individuals to stand in the gap by committing to pray over the city for a specific period of time.

Our History
In 2011, while Stockton was experiencing unprecedented violence, the ministry of Pray Stockton was created. In 2012, Pray Stockton began a campaign to have 52 weeks of constant prayer. Churches, ministries, and individuals would pray strategically for city leadership, unity, crime and more. Churches & ministries across the city each agreed to adopt a week, and would be responsible for having people in prayer for the city, 24 hours per day, all that week.

On January 1st, 2013, the 52 weeks of prayer began, and the crime rate immediately dropped. During that year, we saw God answer our prayers and the homicide rate in Stockton dropped 55% from the previous year.
We Need You
We are creating a prayer chain that unites the body of Christ for the purpose of blanketing the city in prayer. Our goal is to the enlist at least 52 ministries, churches or prayer groups to commit to strategic prayer for one full week. As each church or ministry covers the city in prayer, we ask all participating ministries pray for and with that group. We can't do this alone.
We don't need names on a list.
We need people on their knees.
